Mexican Chain Closes 48 Locations Thanks to New CA Law

If you're from the West Coast, you may have Rubio's Coastal Grill, a Carlsbad, California-based fast-casual restaurant chain known for its fish tacos.

Well, Rubio's is the latest to announce a downward spiral. Specifically, they will be closing a whopping 48 locations in Golden State thanks to the new $20 minimum wage law.

Naturally, this isn't something that the owners want to do. But with rising costs on everything and now being forced to pay employees substantially more, they don't really have a choice.

They once had 193 locations. Now, they'll be down to 86…

Judge Sentences 75-Year-Old Woman for Praying at Abortion Clinic

Praying is not a crime, but apparently, when it's done inside an abortion clinic, it is.

At least that is the message received after Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly sentenced a 75-year-old woman to two years in prison after she and several other pro-life activists entered a clinic in 2020 and began praying in the lobby for the unborn children.

At 75, Paulette Harlow, unlike Donald Trump, isn't in the best of health. In fact, her husband's plea during her trial was that, if sentenced to prison, she could die without his care. Of course, Kollar-Kotelly didn't seem too concerned about that…
