The annual Homer Peony Celebration, from July 1-30, honors the exquisite flowers cultivated on Homer’s 25 peony farms, famed for their large, vibrant blooms.

The bay also serves as a summer haven for orcas and humpback whales, making it a prime location for whale watching.
