Biden’s Latest Move to Shield Migrants from Deportation

President Biden is set to unveil new regulations designed to shield the migrant spouses of U.S. citizens from deportation risks.

The Department of Homeland Security will enact a policy enabling certain migrants, including the non-citizen spouses and children of lawful U.S. permanent residents or citizens, to seek lawful permanent resident status, according to the administration.

The initiative is projected to benefit approximately half a million American families, including about 50,000 individuals under the age of 21 who are either married to or the children of a U.S. citizen, as stated by the White House.

Israeli Soldiers Use Medieval Trebuchet To Fight Militants

The Israeli military has revived an ancient siege technology in its efforts to expose Hezbollah combat sites and covert pathways along the northern border with Lebanon, according to an expert and visual evidence shared on social media.

Recent uploads depict Israel Defense Forces reservists operating a trebuchet, a medieval siege engine, to hurl fireballs across the concrete barrier that divides Israel from Lebanon.

Reservists, speaking to the Israeli media under the condition of anonymity, disclosed that the trebuchet has been in use since October. The aim is to uncover hidden militant positions and infiltration routes amidst the dense vegetation near the border. This initiative follows a deadly attack by the Gaza-based militant group Hamas on October 7, which prompted a retaliatory war by Israel against the group in Gaza.
