In the ongoing quest for artificial intelligence (AI) supremacy among major technology companies, social media giant Meta has found itself ahead of the curve thanks to its access to vast amounts of user-generated content across both Instagram and Facebook.

During his appearance at Bloomberg's recent Tech Summit, Chief Product Officer Chris Cox revealed how Meta utilizes this treasure trove of information to fuel development of its innovative text-to-image generator known as 'Emu'. According to Cox, all necessary materials used during the process originate solely from open-source material shared openly within these two prominent online communities.

So, what you post is being used to train AI. Hmmm…

In a humorous take-down of self-proclaimed experts among Hollywood's elite, comedian Ricky Gervais recently poked fun at stars such as Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Cranston, Samuel L. Jackson, Whoopi Goldberg, Lena Dunham, Miley Cyrus, Amy Schumer, Barbra Streisand, and Jon Stewart. These A-listers had infamously threatened to abandon ship – literally leaving America behind -if their preferred candidate didn't emerge victorious from past presidential races.
