Harris Riots in NYC Are Reason for Concern

In a disturbing display of lawlessness, anti-Israel protesters unleashed chaos in Harlem, targeting a pro-Kamala Harris campaign celebration with smoke bombs and foul language. This incident, occurring shortly after a Democratic rally endorsing Harris, may serve as a grim foretaste of what is expected at the upcoming Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

A group, donned in keffiyehs, forcefully entered a bustling restaurant, accusing patrons of complicity in the turmoil in Palestine, a nod to the recent Israeli actions in Gaza following a deadly Hamas attack on October 7, 2023. The scene quickly escalated as the mob used horns and bells, creating a tumultuous environment until the police intervened.

John Macari, a retired NYPD lieutenant and podcast co-host, remarked on the incident, stating, "What you saw the NYPD dealing with on the streets of New York in response to the Democratic rally to endorse Kamala Harris is a preview of what law enforcement in Chicago will be dealing with next week at the Democratic National Convention."
