Tacos al Pastor were influenced by Lebanese immigrants: When Lebanese immigrants came to Mexico in the early 20th century, they brought with them shawarma, which inspired the creation of the now-famous al pastor taco.
Americans consume over 4.5 billion tacos annually: That’s enough tacos to stretch to the moon and back multiple times!
